What is Arrested Development about?

If you think your family is weird, you haven't seen young Jason Bateman fathering Michael Cera yet.

When the family patriarch George Bluth Senior is sent to prison, Michael (Jason Bateman) steps up to run the family business. What began as a banana stand has blossomed into a wealthy real estate empire, which has bred quite a few quirks into the family dynamic.

The eccentric family features Gob (Will Arnett) a flailing magician, Lindsay (Portia de Rossi) a vapid and clueless socialite, her husband Tobias (David Cross) best known for being unable to ever be nude, Buster (Tony Hale) the infantalised elder son with severe Mummy issues, and the family matriarch Lucille (Jessica Walter). Every family member- seemingly apart from Michael- have entirely lost touch with the common man. Michael will try his best to bring them back down to earth, but it is hard to take the money from the banana stand.
