How much does Peacock TV cost?

Peacock TV has a mix of free and premium content. Peacock TV Premium costs US$4.99 a month or US$49.99 per year. There’s also Peacock TV Premium Plus, which costs US$9.99 per month or US$99.99 per year. The difference between the two is that Peacock TV Premium Plus doesn’t have ads, allows for offline viewing for select title, and includes a 24/7 NBC live channel.

The free content is restricted to specific TV show episodes (usually the first episode) and selected movies. Basically, any content marked with a purple feature in the top-left corner needs a premium subscription. If there’s no feather, it’s free to stream.

How do I pay for Peacock TV in Australia?

Peacock TV accepts PayPal and credit card payments from major providers. The catch is, without a US address, you won’t get too far in the payment process. Full disclosure: we haven’t tested the following steps for Peacock TV specifically. Convoluted as it may be, the workaround is to create an iTunes or Google Play account and set the billing address to the United States. From here, purchase a US Apple or US Google Play gift card, respectively, and then pay for the service via iTunes on iOS devices and Google Play on Android devices.

What TV shows and movies are on Peacock TV?

At the time of writing, Peacock TV was spruiking Bel Air, Grand Crew, Poker Face (the show, not the Poker Face movie), The Blacklist and Magnum P.I. At least one episode for all of those shows was free to stream except for The Blacklist. In terms of movies, there was Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Megan (including Megan Unrated), Tár and Armageddon Time. All of those movies required a Peacock Premium subscription.

Admittedly, there were some great movies that were available to stream for free, including the John Wick trilogy, Serena, A League of Their Own, and The Host. In terms of general content, Peacock is home to the following featured brands:
