1 min readDisney Plus has had an interesting first year. It's been deemed a godsend for parents of young children, and Star Wars fans have got their money's worth but for everyone else, there hasn't been much in The Way of exclusives. That's especially true if you're a Marvel fan. Well, the wait is over for True Believers as the first big Marvel TV exclusive, WandaVision, exits the Soul Stone and enters the Disney Plus library on 15 January. WandaVision is following the path set by The Mandalorian with episodes releasing weekly, rather than all at once.
But hey, that's not all. The Jim Henson Company's Earth To Ned is getting its second season with Batch 2 arriving on New Years Day 2021. If you haven't already checked out the first season (or Batch), Earth To Ned is a talk show hosted by an alien (Ned) who has been tasked with destroying Earth. Ned gets a little side-tracked in the process and becomes obsessed with interviewing celebrities and comedians. Earth To Ned is easily one of the best (and by far one of the funniest) shows on Disney Plus to watch with the kids. Anyone who grew up with Space Ghost: Coast to Coast will get a kick out of it.
Other than that, there are loads of TV shows arriving for the little ones, like T.O.T.S and PJ Masks. And in case you forgot that Disney Plus is also home to Nat Geo content, it's worth noting there's a weird amount of shark documentaries arriving too: 700 Sharks, Mega Hammerhead, and more are all arriving and it's not even Shark Month yet.
