Paramount Plus has announced that it will be launching two new streaming tiers in Australia and a handful of other markets.
The first to launch is a Premium tier which will offer TV series and films in high-quality formats including 4K UHD, HDR 10 and Dolby Vision.
Additionally, Premium plan customers will be able to enjoy Paramount Plus over four simultaneous streams - up from two on the current Standard plan. This plan will be available in Australia from November 16 for $13.99 a month or $124.99 annually.
The second new tier it will be offering will include ads. However, Paramount says that plan won't be available in Australia until 2024.
At this stage, Paramount has confirmed no price rise for the Standard (ad-free) plan which will continue to be offered for $9.99 per month. Although, that's likely because Paramount only just raised the price from $8.99 back in August.
