Get your UFC KO fix with Kayo or UFC Fight Pass.
You’ve got a few options to stream UFC fights in Australia but if you’re after live bouts and a whole lot of other sport streaming, start with Kayo Sports. There’s a dedicated MMA channel but, in my experience, pay-per-view (PPV) UFC events are advertised pretty hard, so they’re tough to miss from the homepage when they’re coming up. Kayo is where you’ll also find UFC Fight Nights, UFC Prelims, UFC Countdown and other content.
If it’s on Kayo, it’s also on Foxtel if you have the Sports package. Kayo is the cheaper option if you’re only interested in sports, with prices starting at $25 a month for Kayo One. For sports plus entertainment, Foxtel Now is your best bet with prices starting at $54 per month.
For those who care less about a range of sports and just want to get to the face-punchy stuff, consider purchasing a UFC Fight Pass. Pay either $10.99 a month or save some money by buying a full year for $104.99. Fight Pass has access to a back catalogue of older UFC fights, exclusive original content, plus preliminary bouts before big PPV events.
You can also check in with the official UFC YouTube page for press conferences, highlights and select completed fights. Note that no matter where you watch UFC, you’ll have to pony up more for each PPV UFC event that you want to watch.
Watch UFC PPV events in Australia
If you want to watch a UFC PPV event for free, you’re going to have to head down to your local sports bar. Otherwise, expect to pay around $59.95 per numbered UFC event. In the past, there have been a range of PPV options. In more recent times, Kayo Sports, Fox Sports and Main Event are the Foxtel-owned ways to pay for and stream UFC events from the comfort of your couch as part of a multi-year exclusivity deal.
Watch MMA fighting streams in Australia
For non-UFC mixed martial arts (MMA) fights, head over to DAZN. Prices start at $21.99 per month for a no-contract option but the best value is for an upfront $139.99 annual fee. Alternatively, it’s $13.99 each month for a 12-month contract. DAZN has a range of live fights, catch-up bouts and on-demand MMA content.
