A Murder at the End of the World is probably coming to Disney Plus in Australia.
Where to watch A Murder at the End of the World when it airs
With a mouthful of a name and an intriguing premise, A Murder at the End of the World could be one of the last breakout streaming series of the year. FX has kept its card close to its chest on this one, but there's a lot to like about what little we've seen of the series so far.
If all you're after is an answer to the question of where you'll be able to find and stream A Murder at the End of the World in Australia, here's everything you need to know.
Where to stream A Murder at the End of the World online in Australia
- Disney+
In Australia, A Murder at the End of the World will be probably available to stream exclusively on Disney+ via the Star section of the streaming app when it arrives. Nowadays, that's where most of FX's original content ends up.
Disney+ Star is also the service's home for more mature TV shows and movies like Prey. It's an add-on to the Disney+ app you already use but is only accessible if you haven't set any age restrictions in the Disney+ app, so be sure to check your parental control settings if you're having trouble finding A Murder at the End of the World on the day of release.
In addition to the upcoming historical drama, you can find a huge range of Fox, Hulu and Disney classics with Star.
Disney Plus doesn't offer a free trial per se, but there are ways to score two free weeks with a service called OnePass.
Otherwise, there is an opportunity to save if you sign up for an entire year upfront. Disney Plus costs $13.99 per month for the standard plan when you play month-to-month or $139.99 if you play for an entire year, which saves you $27.90 over the year.
When does A Murder at the End of the World release in Australia?
The first episode of A Murder at the End of the World is slated to arrive on 14 November 2023. The series will run for seven episodes in total, with the finale airing on 19 December 2023.
At this stage, it's still possible that Disney Plus will be streaming the series from the first week onwards. However, it wouldn't be a huge shock if the service waited until the final episode to drop the whole thing on Aussies at once. Annoying as that is, this has been the case with other FX original content like The Bear so we'll have to see to find out.
At the time of writing, a second season of A Murder at the End of the World has not been green-lit. That said, given that the show is being marketed as a "limited series" that's not a huge surprise.

What is Disney+?
Disney Plus is the premiere streaming service from the media juggernaut. It was released in late 2019 and hit the ground running with popular original series like The Mandalorian and Wandavision, and has continued to pump out originals from its growing portfolio of franchises. After Disney’s acquisition of Fox, Disney Plus Star was added to the service, increasing the amount of more mature outings on the service from Fox’s range of properties (Alien, Predator, Die Hard etc.)
Disney Plus starts at $13.99 per month for the standard plan. This cheaper option lets you stream in up to HD quality in up to two places at once. The more expensive premium plan doubles that and upgrades the resolution to 4K.
