Dreame Roboticmower A1 only has a 5000mAh battery, but coupled with mowing continuity can cut up to 1000m2 of grass in a 24-hour period, not including charging time.

The device, launched globally today, is touted as an all-in-one mowing product with the ability to perform All Area, Zone, Spot, and Edge Mowing. As opposed to robot vacuums that look like they have a mind of their own, the A1 uses what Dreame calls U Path Planning, ultimately mowing in uniform lines up and down the lawn. Once the battery nears depletion, it returns to the charging station and comes back to where it left off when it is charged up and ready to go.

Mapping should take 15 minutes, and allows for wire-free boundary setting so your robomower doesn’t just take off down the street. Using a 360 degree camera and its OmniSense Ultra Sensing System, the device can detect obstacles up to 40 metres away and divert its course. It can also handle up to 24 degrees of gradation, and users can customise zones and lawn height between 3-7cm in the accompanying app.

The A1 Roboticmower will cost $3,999, but pre-orders can get $500 off until May 21 with an a extended 3 year warranty. Available now through Dreame website, and soon to hit specialist retail stores.

Also announced at the launch is the L10s Pro Ultra with a hot water mop cleaning feature. The premium robot vacuum cleaner comes with a self-cleaning mop station where the old water will empty, new one will fill, and the mop will be cleaned with 58 degree celsius water.

Smart features continue during cleaning with the device using AI Algorithmic Cleaning, intuitive auto-lift for carpets, and new MopExtend technology. According to Dreame the L10s uses AI to customise cleaning based on the floor type and the layout of the room, as well as revisit areas that it didn’t quite clean properly the first time around. It will also automatically detect rugs while mopping, and lift the mop head up to 1.5cm off the ground to keep them dry. Finally, the mop head can also extend out of the body to reach underneath tight spaces and get a deeper edge clean.

The L10s Pro Ultra is rated to cover up to 205m2 per charge, and will retail for $1,999
