WhistleOut has had its say when it comes the best mobile plans, internet plans and device manufacturers with the rollout of this year's WhistleOut Awards.
WhistleOut managing editor Alex Choros pointed to the reality that the price of internet and mobile connectivity has risen over the past twelve months, driving new demand for more affordable providers.
"One of the best ways to save money on your phone or internet plan is to try out a smaller provider," he added.
As with last year, TPG emerged the winner when it came to mobile providers while Tangerine took out the crown for internet providers.
Google came away with a nod for "Phone of the Year" with the Google Pixel 8a while Motorola was named as the best phone manufacturer, winning out over Google, Apple and Samsung.
Choros highlighted how competitive the manufacturer has become across every price point in the Australian mobile market.
"Whether you’re looking for a reliable cheap device, a flashy foldable, or something in between, Motorola is doing something worth paying attention to," Choros said.
