Black Friday mobile plan deals from MVNOs

amaysim has an interesting run of Black Friday deals on offer, including over 50% off all of its 28 day SIM-only plans, and over 20% of the cost of it 365 day SIM-only plans. For the 28 day plans, you’ll also get double the data allowance for the first three months.

There’s also a range of mobile phone deals to be had at amaysim. Score yourself an Oppo A53s, Optus X Pro, Optus X GO, Optus X-Sight 2 or Optus X-Lite handset for just $1 when paired with any SIM plan. In terms of savings, the A53s is the best deal there with a tasty cut of $278 off the claimed RRP, where the identically priced Optus X-Lite is just a $58 saving.

Fancy something a little more premium? You can also grab a Samsung Galaxy S22 for $499, Samsung Galaxy A35 for $489 or a Samsung Galaxy A15 for $269 through amasysim when paired with any SIM plan. If your tastes run more towards Apple, you can get $100 off the RRP of the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 16 Pro Max when paired with any amaysim SIM-only plan.

For any of the phone discount deals, you have to sign up for at least one 28 day plan period, and there is a limit of 3 devices per customer.

Aussie Broadband is far and away better known for NBN plans than it is being an MVNO, but it does offer mobile services on the Optus 4G/5G network. For Black Friday, you can take 50% off the monthly cost of a 40GB, 100GB, 120GB or 220GB mobile SIM plans for up to six months.

Everyday Mobile – AKA the MVNO run by Woolies – is offering half price on all of its prepaid plans as well as double the data on its $35 prepaid plan. What with it being half price, that’s a tasty 80GB of data to use over 30 days for just $17.50. That half price deal only counts for the first 30 day period, however.

If you prefer your plans with long expiry and you’re already an Everyday Rewards member, you can get $10 off the cost of the 180 day 75GB long expiry Everyday Mobile plan, $20 off the price of the 365 day 215GB long expiry Everyday Mobile plan or $40 off the price of the 365 day 280GB long expiry Everyday Mobile plan.

If your taste runs more to SIM-only Everyday Mobile plans, you can score 15% off any plan when you link your Everyday Rewards card as a Black Friday promotion. What’s quite neat here is that this isn’t your typical 1, 3 or 6 month limited deal; you’ll get that discount for as long as you stay connected.

Felix has some pretty sweet deals for Black Friday, starting with its entry level 25GB plan for just $10 per month for the first three months, saving you $15 per month with the use of code GREEN10.

If your data needs are more extensive you don’t have to spend that much more. $15 a month will buy you a 50GB Felix Mobile plan for three months, half its usual $30/month price with the use of the code FELIX50.

Finally if you feel the need for data that never ever stops coming… albeit speed capped at 20Mbps… then you can grab Felix Mobile’s unlimited plan for $20/month for the first three months via the same FELIX50 code.

Kogan Mobile is offering 60% off its small mobile plan for the first month only, 27% off its small 365 day plan, 33% off its large 365 day plan and 37% off the price of its Extra large 365 day plan.

TPG might not count as an MVNO in some people’s eyes – it’s essentially the merged owner of Vodafone, let’s be honest here – but as it’s still viewed as the “Vodafone” network, we’ve placed it here. TPG’s deal for Black Friday as it relates to SIM-only mobile plans is for 50% off plan prices.

You can score that deal outright on its entry level 25GB plan for just $12.50 for six months, but if you want it on the 50GB or 100GB plans ($17.50 and $22.50 per month respectively for the first six months only) you also must have a linked TPG internet plan to qualify for the special pricing.

Tangerine will be offering Black Friday deals, as per its website… but as yet it’s not made them public. We’ll update as soon as their Black Friday plans become apparent and you can actually buy them.
