Apple has officially revealed the iPhone 14 range. The iPhone 14, 14 Pro and Pro Max are available now, while the iPhone 14 Plus is delayed until the 7th of October.
When is the iPhone 14 coming out in Australia?
Apple revealed the iPhone 14 in the early hours of Thursday the 8th of September 2022, announcing four new models as expected: the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
While the standard 14 and 14 Plus aren't much of a leap from last year's iPhone 13, the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max present a more significant upgrade for those looking to grab Apple's latest smartphone. Those happy to settle for standard will be looking at forking out $1,399 minimum for the iPhone 14 in Australia.
So when will the iPhone 14 be available in Australia?
- iPhone 14: Available now
- iPhone 14 Plus: Available from 7th of October 2022

As with every iPhone release, there are three key dates and times: the initial reveal at the Apple Event, the preorder window and the day phones officially go on sale.
This year, the iPhone 14 was officially revealed on Thursday the 8th of September 2022 (7th of September in the US).
Following the trends of previous years, the iPhone 14 became available for preorder the following day at 10:00PM (AEST) on Friday the 9th of September 2022.
After the week-long preorder window, the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone Pro Max went on sale in Australia on Friday the 16th of September, 2022.
The one remaining model is the iPhone 14 Plus, which has been delayed until the 7th of October 2022.

Where can I watch the Apple iPhone 14 keynote?
As mentioned above, the iPhone 14 reveal and accompanying keynote– where new AirPods and Apple Watches were also announced– kicked off at the aggressively early hour of 3:00AM on the 8th of September (for Australians, at least).

So should I hold off on buying an iPhone 13?
This year, the iPhone 14 offers a fairly small upgrade to the iPhone 13, all things considered. But the good news is, the iPhone 13 has recieved a generous price cut in response to the iPhone 14 announcement. The new iPhone 13 pricing in Australia is as follows:

- iPhone 13 256GB: $1,399
- iPhone 13 512GB: $1,749
