The launch of the iPhone 16 is only a few days away but there's already a great way to save.

Right now, Vodafone is offering a pretty tempting pre-order promotion that lets you score a solid $1,299 in credit when you pre-order any member of the iPhone 16 family on its new $79 promo plan. In a practical sense, this takes the form of a $36 per month discount on your handset fees.

The plan itself comes with 600GB of monthly excess-charge free data, 100 minutes of international calls, three months of Binge and the option to add international roaming for just $5 per day.

The idea here is that you're paying more for the plan than you otherwise might but saving money on the cost of the device so long as you stick things out to the full term. Leaving early means forfeiting the remainder of the credit and having to pay $36 or so per month remaining in that 36-month period.

Still, if those are rules that you're happy to play by, this is a great option to consider if you're in the market for a new iPhone and happy to throw in with Vodafone.

Paired up with the cheapest version of the iPhone 16, you'd be looking at just $100 in handset fees total. More expensive models like the iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16 Pro will cost you more in handset fees, but the savings are nothing to scoff at.

This offer ends on 19 September 2024. For a sense of how it compares to the cost of buying an iPhone on Vodafone's other mobile plans, check out the widget below.
