Best Samsung Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 plans in Australia
Samsung's latest mid-range devices have landed in Australia. The budget handsets, The Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 are available on a plan through all major telco retailers, and of course you can pick them up outright from a range of stockists.
Month-by-month the plans should be cheap, especially compared to flagship devices like the iPhone 15 and Samsung S24 range, but buying them outright will still end up cheaper. More on that later- for now here are the cheapest mobile plans for the new Samsung A series.
Cheapest Samsung Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 plans
Vodafone and Telstra have both released their Galaxy A35 and A55 plans, but we're still waiting on Optus. As it stands Vodafone has the cheapest deals and Telstra has the most expensive, however when Optus does release their A series plans that might change.
Right now Optus has been undercutting by one cent on most of it's plans, so we wouldn't be surprised to see that. For now, here are the new A35 and A55 plans ranked by monthly price.

Samsung Galaxy A35 vs Galaxy A55 specs
The Samsung Galaxy A35 and A55 have a lot in common, but there are a few key differences.
While the A35 has 6GB of RAM, the A55 has an addition 2GB which should make it fun faster and more efficiently. Moreover, the design of the A55 is more premium- It boasts an aluminium frame where the A35 is plastic.
What you're most likely to notice though are the upped camera specs. Galaxy A55 has a 12MP ultrawise + 5MP macros, and 32MP selfie while the A35 has an 8MP + 2MP + 13MP set up respectively. Both have a 50MP primary lens and include a bunch of fun AI tricks like their older siblings the S series.
Here are how they compare across the whole A series (2024) range.
