Belkin’s ambitions for the audio niche are growing, with the company announcing its first set of over-ear noise-canceling headphones at this year’s IFA conference in Berlin.

The newly-minted Soundform Isolate headphones promise to provide a quality noise-canceling experience at a more reasonable price-point than the likes of the Sonos Ace or AirPods Max. Despite the thrifty asking price, the over-ear headphones boast a set of 40mm drivers, 60 hours of playback on a single charge (that figure falls to 40 with ANC-enabled), Bluetooth 5.4 (plus multipoint) compatibility and a form-factor that’s both foldable and made of recycled materials.

Other features here include an array of five microphones, USB-C charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a handful of touch controls that allow you to hit pause or play on your music at a moment’s notice.

Belkin’s first foray into noise-canceling headphones are also armed with a “Relaxation” track that plays on a loop if you don’t have a smartphone handy but still want more than white noise when it comes to canceling out the ambience around you.

Priced at an RRP of $89.95, the Belkin Soundform Isolate headphones are set to land in Australia in early 2025.

In addition to the above, Belkin also announced the new SoundForm ClearFit earbuds and SoundForm Surround headphones. The first of those two is a set of open-ear Bluetooth buds designed for sportier folks and due to arrive at an RRP of $89.95 later this month.

Under the hood, the Soundfit ClearFit are powered by a set of 14.2mm drivers, come with an IPX5 rating for sweat resistance and offer 8 hours of playback on a single charge with an extra 18 hours provided by the charging case.

Meanwhile, the latter are a set of over-ear headphones that feature electronic noise-cancellation and a design that’s broadly similar to the Soundform Isolate in specs but slightly cheaper at $69.96.

Like its noise-canceling sibling, the Belkin Soundform Isolate is due to land in Australia in early 2025.
