While Ecovac’s new Deebo X2 Combo comes with plenty of under-the-hood upgrades, the most notable thing about the whole-home cleaning solution is that it comes bundled with the company’s first foray into stick vacuums.

Shown off at this CES 2024 in Las Vegas, Ecovac’s latest and greatest now comes with Matter compatibility plus a handheld vacuum cleaner to deal with the places where the company’s robovac can’t quite reach.

When you’re done using it, this accessory can be attached to the same charging station that its robovac counterpart relies on. Beyond the technical innovation that comes with that integration, the big picture sell here is that many robovac consumers often own a stick vac in addition and most people would rather buy one product than go out and grab two.

It doesn't hurt that the headline act is as high-tech as robovacs get. Ecovac’s newest Deebot features 8000pA of suction plus a more squared profile that promises to help it cover more ground. It’s also got the same Ozmo Turbo 2.0 mopping system seen in the previous model, plus YIKI 2.0 voice controls and an embedded navigation system that promises faster cleaning. When the work is done, the Deebot X2 Combo returns to its base station, where the waste bin is automatically emptied and the mops are automatically cleaned and dried.

The Deebot X2 Combo isn’t the only thing that the company brought to this year’s CES. The company also showed off its second-generation Winbot W2 Omni, which was first announced at last year’s IFA tradeshow in Berlin, and its GX-600 robot lawnmower.

According to Deebot CEO David Qian, technological innovation is just the beginning of the brand’s broader vision for smarter home cleaning.

“Whether it's our floor and window cleaners, air purifiers, or lawn mowers, our evolving range of robotic solutions consistently strives to unburden homeowners, granting them precious time back for family, hobbies, and the myriad pleasures life has to offer,” he said.

Australian pricing and availability for the Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo, GX-600 robot lawnmower and Winbot W2 Omni window cleaner is to be confirmed.
