Kogan is selling the new Ultimate Ears Miniroll for four times its recommended retail price.

Usually, when we write about a specific retailer or reseller selling a product, it’s because we happen to think they’re offering a good deal and that our audience might want to take advantage of that opportunity. This is as far from that as these things get. This is a story about a deal so bad it earned itself a blog post.

In Australia, the Ultimate Ears Miniroll portable speaker currently retails for $99. At the time of writing, Kogan (and Dick Smith) are selling it for a whopping $399.

For that price, you could buy four of these things or even a more premium speaker like the Sonos Era 100. Don't give Ruslan the satisfaction. Real friends don't let their friends buy overpriced or dodgy tech online.

Anyway, you'll be able to find our review of the Ultimate Ears Miniroll when it goes live later this week.
