It's not for your average fan—it’s for football addicts who want access to 200+ regular-season NFL games during the most wonderful time of the year
NFL Sunday Ticket: Should You Get It?
This 2024 season, you will find NFL Sunday Ticket only on YouTube TV, one of the best live TV streaming services.
The Ticket gets you access to all out-of-market games. And that equals up to over 200 games!
NFL Sunday Ticket seems like the shiny new sports thing, but I'm going to get into the details of who this service would truly benefit and who would benefit from cheaper alternatives.
How much is NFL Sunday Ticket?
The NFL Sunday Ticket add-on is $379 for the season with YouTube TV or $479 a la carte, and NFL Sunday Ticket + NFL RedZone Channel is $519 without YouTube TV.
Unfortunately, none of these prices include your YouTube TV subscription. However, if you want to keep your cable or satellite TV provider and order the Ticket without YouTube TV, that's possible, too! But as you'll see, it costs $100 extra for the season.
Remember, once you order NFL Sunday Ticket, you won't be able to cancel and get a refund.
The plan is a pretty hefty price upfront, but if you break it down by the 18 weeks of the regular football season, that’s about $22–$28 per week.
But trust us when we say NFL Sunday Ticket is the best way to access all out-of-market games.
Can I get NFL Sunday Ticket for free?
Yes! This 2024–2025 NFL season, you can get NFL Sunday Ticket for free with either Verizon's Unlimited Ultimate phone plan and an eligible trade-in (valid for new and existing mobile customers) or with eligible Verizon home internet plans.
The savings don't end with a free Ticket. You could even combine your wireless and home internet services to save even more. Get up to $25 off your Verizon Fios bill every month with an eligible Verizon Wireless plan, plus discounts on other internet services like Verizon 5G and LTE.
How many games are included in an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription?
NFL Sunday Ticket delivers over 200 games to your TV during the regular season.
Should I get NFL Sunday Ticket?
If you're a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan who lives in Seattle and want to watch all 17 games, NFL Sunday Ticket is for you. (But you'll also need your local channels for the primetime games.)
If you're a players fan or a Fantasy Football diehard, and want to catch the occasional Steelers game, you'll benefit from a TV service with the local channels, ESPN, and NFL Network.
You'll also want the NFL RedZone Channel. What's the NFL RedZone Channel, you ask?
Well, the best channel ever made.
This channel will show you the best moments of the Sunday morning and afternoon games in real-time. This channel jumps to whichever team is inside the 20-yard line with a chance to score and show replays of outstanding pick-6s, tackles, one-handed grabs, and Hail Marys.
We have a list of live TV streaming services and traditional TV providers with these NFL-game channels.
But for either fan, you'll have to order Amazon Prime Video for Thursday Night Football games.

So don't worry. Just switch over to your channel guide to find your local CBS or FOX channel for the Sunday afternoon games, or the NBC channel for Sunday Night Football.

If watching your team play all 17 games of the regular season is a must, then yes.
But if you'd rather watch the exciting moments of Sunday's games, watch TNF, SNF, and MNF broadcasted games, we recommend the following:
- NFL RedZone Channel add-on
- A TV provider that offers this add-on and has CBS, ESPN, FOX, NBC, and NFL Network in its channel lineup (fuboTV, Xfinity TV, DISH TV, and YouTube TV)
- Amazon Prime Video for TNF games
